GETTING IT ON:
MONEY, SEX, KIDS, & CONFLICT
Using the 12 components that every relationship needs to deepen intimacy and promote higher subjective well-being.
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ― Barack Obama
Being the change we wish to see in the world begins at home, it begins in ourselves. "Everything will be all right" does not mean "Everything will still be the same."
Our Getting It On series combines the latest research on cognition in self-determination, social conflict, and didactic learning so that individuals and couples are able to implement growth and change in their lives. We do this by lowering conflict, helping you develop a dialectic for conflict, and learning the 12 components necessary to deepen intimacy in relationship and promote higher subjective well-being.
Part change model for personal growth, part deepening intimacy with yourself, we designed this series for individuals and couples who:
Have struggles with communication or knowing Self;
Have a history of not trusting or not getting the intimacy you want;
Want to better understand yourself and articulate your desires and needs better; or
Want to make a your already-good life better.
We have one option for couples and one for individuals wishing to implement a shift through cognitive behavioral and self-determination theories. According to the founder of PROSCI, Jeff Hiatt, there are five building blocks that bring about lasting change. They are Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement. Together we will work toward a new model of engagement in your life, relationship, or marriage.
Until February 4, 2019, we are accepting 12 couples and 12 individuals at 60% off the advertised rate while we collect results for a study. Please see our ad promotion at the Washington Mediation Association.
